What DAW (digital audio workstation) and other gear do you use?
We work in Logic Pro at 32-bit, running through a MOTU 96k interface and Midas M32 console. Main monitors are ADAM A7X, with custom Yamaha NS10s for reference. We also use Steven Slate's VSX system and have a full mic locker and analog outboard gear.
What genres do you work with?
All of them. Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, Country, Reggae, Jazz — if you make it, we can produce it. After 20+ years, we're comfortable pretty much anywhere.
What things do you do differently or beyond that of a normal studio?
We don't bill by the hour. A project is done when it's right — not when the clock runs out. We're also published ASCAP songwriters with an extensive catalog, so if you need a song written or co-written, that's something we do too. And we build music from the ground up — not just loops and beats, but records with real feeling.
Can you explain your general process?
We start with a conversation: who you are, what you're making, and what "done" looks like for you. From there, we lock in the scope, agree on price (half upfront, half on delivery), and get to work. Tracks can be recorded at our studio, yours, or from home — we'll walk you through it either way. After we send the near-final version, you get up to three revision rounds. Timelines range from a couple of days to a few weeks depending on complexity.
I don't have a song yet - can you still help me?
Yes! Bring us your voice and a direction - we can handle the rest. As published ASCAP songwriters, we co-write, full-write, or help shape whatever idea you're sitting on. We'll help you find the song and then build everything around it. A quick call is all it takes to get started.
Do you only work with local bands and artists?
Not at all. We work with artists across the US, South America, Europe, and Asia. Distance is never a barrier.
